Céline has been working in the wine and spirits industry for over 20 years and started her career with Wine and Spirit International and Wine Magazine. Her PR experience includes fronting large trade and consumer campaigns , running busy press offices and orchestrating product launches, recently for Bodega Argento and Denbies Wine Estates. She was instrumental in developing trade recognition for rising stars like Roussillon or the Jura wine region in France. An event specialist, Céline managed and delivered the programme of features for the leading on-trade drinks show Imbibe Live for over 10 years and she has organised the Wines from Spain Annual Trade Tasting since 2016. She is a fluent French and Spanish speaker and holds the WSET Diploma.
Nathalie is Otaria’s marketing and admin coordinator. She provides invaluable support across all accounts and is closely involved with the Wines of Roussillon UK campaign. Nathalie looks after digital marketing communications. Her marketing experience includes web creation and site management, newsletter creation and digital marketing. She is a whizz at database management, intranets and internal communications systems. Nathalie is a French speaker and is based in Glasgow, Scotland. Recently Nathalie has completed the Wine and Spirit Education Trust Level 2 Award course, which she passed with Merit.
Karen started her career in wine in 1991 as a branch manager for high street retailer WineRack, before moving to the buying and marketing team for the Threshers group. She gained extensive wine marketing and brand management experience during her 18 years with importer Richards Walford and, later, as Fields Morris & Verdin’s Marketing Manager. Karen made the move to freelance consultancy in 2016 specialising in marketing services and project management for wine producers and independent UK wine importers. She also offers producers specialist advice on wine information communication and management for the trade. She has been supporting the Otaria team since 2016 and brings her strategic expertise as special projects and events manager for the Wines from Spain and Wines of Roussillon accounts.
